TED talk
It discusses the power of how photography connects to us to the world. He makes good staments about how photography is not just a picture that it shows emotions and powerful tools that can tell stories. It also evokes many emotions. He uses a variety of examples to prove his point on his opinion. He argues that photography can help us see the world in many ways. It is true I think it brings us all closer by sharing our experiences. He says that there are many photos that speaks on so many thigs like, cultures and sharing stories also feeling empathy for others. Griffins talking is a celebration for not just him but for other photographers about the power of photography to connects to us and each other and around the world.
Take a vacation
I want to go to the dessert. I want to go there because I think it would be a cool sight to see. I would like to go hiking with my mom there.
Black, whites, and greys
Color photography was tough to produce even once Kodachrome, a color film, was invented, plenty of photographers stuck to black and white, simply because they preferred it to color. Color itself can take away emphasis on contrast, texture, lighting, shape, and form. If you’re photographing a weathered man with a face full of wrinkles, black and white will highlight the texture of the wrinkles, the intensity of the man’s age. A color photo depicts the world as it really is – whereas black and white photos only show a version of reality, one that seems more interpretive and creative. Black and white photos almost always create a wonderful mood or in cases where the mood is already present, the B&W conversion makes it even more intense. Black and white photography has existed since the beginnings of photography, which means that a black and white image cannot instantly be dated.
Fill flash outside
Fill flash outside is photography technique in which the camera flash is deployed to illuminate the darker areas of an image, especially the subject. You should use fill flas when there is a shadow on the subject, the light behind the subject more than in front, and if you close enough to use fill flash. For portraits focus on keeping it subtle, place the subject in an angling position with the sun, and make use of a reflector. For macro photos think over the flash gun, adjust natural light with the flash, and ponder over the flash bracket. And for landscape photography make use of the fill flash to sparkle the foreground, gels are conducive for the color temperature adjustment, and focus on the natural look.
