The layout of lightroom was different than the photoshop layout. It also only had the features to change the color. And lastly the way you save photos is different. One similarity I noticed was they can both change the color vibrance and exposure along with other light included things in the picture. Another similarity is that they both keep your progress after you leave the app. Lastly, I noticed that they are both Adobe app.
